The eligibility criteria for becoming a Legal Mitra in Kotik Foundation are as follows:

Education: PhD/Master Degree in particular subject along with 3 years of experience in your specialized area.

- We prefer candidates with practical experience in the career counseling field. This can be gained through internships, clerkships, or working as an associate in a law firm or legal department. 3 years of experience required may vary depending on the position and employer.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent understanding of career guidance, subject experts in India.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide sound legal advice and counseling to clients.
Empathy and Sensitivity:
- Understanding and empathy towards the needs and challenges faced by marginalized communities and vulnerable populations.
Language Proficiency:
- Proficiency in local languages or regional languages spoken by the target population of the NGO can be advantageous.Â
