There are three main objectives of this career mitra project

Who can become Career Mitra?

The eligibility criteria for becoming a Legal Mitra in Kotik Foundation are as follows:


  • Education: PhD/Master Degree in particular subject along with 3 years of experience in your specialized area.


Professional Experience:

  • We prefer candidates with practical experience in the career counseling field. This can be gained through internships, clerkships, or working as an associate in a law firm or legal department. 3 years of experience required may vary depending on the position and employer.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent understanding of career guidance, subject experts in India.
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to provide sound legal advice and counseling to clients.

Empathy and Sensitivity:

  • Understanding and empathy towards the needs and challenges faced by marginalized communities and vulnerable populations.

Language Proficiency:

  • Proficiency in local languages or regional languages spoken by the target population of the NGO can be advantageous.
