Shiksha Seva
Empowering Dreams Through Education
“A notebook today can become a success story tomorrow.”
At Kotik Foundation, we believe that every child has the right to education, no matter where they are born or how little they have. Through our heartfelt initiative Shiksha Seva, we provide regular school kits—including notebooks, stationery, and learning essentials—to underprivileged students across Udaipur and nearby districts of Rajasthan.
We are not just distributing notebooks.
We are nurturing aspirations, restoring confidence, and protecting the right to learn.

🎯 What is Shiksha Seva?
Shiksha Seva is a long-term education support program under which Kotik Foundation provides school kits throughout the academic year to children from economically weaker families, studying in government or low-income private schools.
These are children identified and registered through school authorities, verified through our team and local educators. Our mission is simple yet powerful: no child should drop out of school due to the lack of basic educational tools.
What We Provide?
All items are new, age-appropriate, and of good quality, ensuring the child feels respected and confident in school.
Each student receives a new school kit based on their grade and learning needs, which may include:
Notebooks
📒 Single line, double line, drawing books
Stationary
✏️ Pens, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, Geometry boxes, colors, and sketch pens
Study Material
📓 Subject-specific study material
Learning Tools
🧮 Educational charts and learning tools
Accessories
🎒 School bags, Socks, Shoes, School Uniform

🏫 Who Are the Beneficiaries?
📆 When Do We Distribute?
Education needs are continuous, not seasonal — and so is our effort.
✅ Before the new academic year to prepare students
✅ Mid-year to restock worn-out or used kits
✅ During festivals or special campaigns (Independence Day, Children’s Day)
✅ On-demand support for students facing crisis, relocation, or dropout risk
✅ Annual school visits across rural belts for regular Shiksha drives
📍 Where We Work
- Urban slums in Udaipur city and outskirts
- Remote rural villages in Chittorgarh, Rajsamand, Dungarpur, and Pratapgarh
- Tribal schools and anganwadis in southern Rajasthan
- Small schools without regular government supply
Our team works closely with headmasters, panchayat leaders, and NGO networks to build a trust-based, transparent distribution model.
Why Shiksha Seva Matters
A child’s learning can suffer just because they don’t have a pencil.
Many students in rural Rajasthan write on torn pages, borrow pens from peers, and skip classes because they lack notebooks. A single school kit can boost attendance, engagement, and even academic performance.

🧡 How You Can Support Shiksha Seva
Because Education is a Child’s Birthright
Shiksha Seva is not a one-time campaign — it is a commitment to learning.
By putting notebooks in little hands, we are placing tools of transformation in their lives.
We are saying:
