Vastra Seva
Vastra Seva Yojana
Because Everyone Deserves to Wear Dignity “New clothes don’t just change how we look—they change how we feel, how we dream, and how we live.”
At Kotik Foundation, we believe that every human being has the right to wear clean, new, and dignified clothing—not just on special days, but throughout the year. Our Vastra Seva initiative is a heartfelt mission to bring joy, self-respect, and hope to those who can’t afford the basic comfort of new clothes.

Introduction
🎯 What is Vastra Seva?
Vastra Seva is a compassionate clothing distribution program by Kotik Foundation, through which we frequently provide new clothes to underprivileged children, women, elderly, and families living in urban slums, remote rural areas, and tribal belts of Southern Rajasthan, especially in Udaipur and nearby districts.
These clothes are not just donations—they are gifts of dignity, offered with love and respect.

We don’t wait for just one day in the year. We offer new clothes throughout the year, including:

On Birthdays of poor children and elderly, to make them feel special

Winter Season
Winter Season, to ensure warmth and safety for street and slum dwellers

Emergency

Every time we distribute clothes, we create moments of happiness that last beyond a season.

🧍♂️ Who Receives the Clothes?
We ensure that clothes reach the truly deserving. The beneficiaries are:
- People who are identified through our community surveys and field workers
- Individuals and families registered with Kotik Foundation
- Children without school uniforms or footwear
- Elderly who live alone without family support

Need of Program
Why Vastra Seva Matters
For millions of people, owning even one set of new clothes remains a distant dream. Many children skip school due to torn uniforms. Women wear faded, worn-out sarees for years. Elderly people sleep in the cold with nothing but rags.
Vastra Seva is more than a campaign — it’s a movement to restore identity, self-respect, and belonging to those who often feel invisible.
